Shielding

Have been trying many different material s for shielding, including strips of soft aluminium, hard aluminium, magnetic stainless steel, non-magnetic stainless steel, zinc, zinc plate, nickel silver, bronze, galvanised steel, mild steel, copper and brass.

Also I took the very expensive option of ordering some MetaGlas, cost more for shipping and by by UK Customs did their import duty, it cost alot for a piece of tin foil!. http://www.blockemf.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=757&products_id=5114

Sorry to say, not impressed. May be ideal for RF shielding, but not for magnets.

PLEASE NOTE.

Sorry I am not posting the results of my experiments as this would take too much time.
But when I have something I can shout about and that works 100%, then be assured I will post an update.
For now this is just a Blog as such of what I am working on.
