At first I attached small neos to the arms. But later replaced them with
Steel washers.
Right had a bit of play with this one and sorry to say I cannot see that she
is going to fly.
The main thing is the balance of the arms and the simplest way for me to show
this is by doing a little video and you will see what I mean. I am using a small
screw driver to emulate the Smot lifting the arms and unless the smot ramp was
curved in my mind it is not going to play ball.
I tried a few different magnet configs with the ramp and the arms travelled a
couple of inches turning the wheel but again getting the height was the problem.
I even used a big smot as below.
I have now got to thinking about the actual measurements on this as I reckon
it is out of balance.
Maybe I need to butt each slider up to each other and loose the 8mm gap and also
the 6mm needs to be reduced to 2mm.
PLEASE NOTE.
Sorry I am not posting the results of my experiments as
this would take too much time.
But when I have something I can shout about and that works 100%, then be assured
I will post an update.
For now this is just a Blog as such of what I am working on.
