A twist on Howard Johnsons

Below after reading up on Howard Johnson http://www.rexresearch.com/johnson/1johnson.htm I liked the idea of the North South Armature and was actually very surprised at the results, no obvious sticky point and after a push it rotated for a good few minutes.
I aligned Disk 3 magnets perfectly in line with all the North poles facing outwards and tried to space the North  and South armature to the spacing that Howard Johnson displays in his drawings.
I decided to add counter balancing with the Pinballs and the small line magnets and metal cutouts are there to hold the pinballs in place.
You can kick this one of spinning and it goes on for a fair bit of time.

With the results I have had off this, I am really tempted to mill out some magnets and shape them to Howard Johnsons original designs as I am very impressed with the performance from this quick experiment that breaks a couple of his rules.

But when I have something I can shout about and that works 100%, then be assured I will post an update.
